Al Sirat App

Al Sirat

A little closer. Every day.

A few verses before the day begins. A prayer to return to. A question you’ve been meaning to ask. Al Sirat brings reading, remembrance and learning into one welcoming space, free and without ads. No Al Sirat account is needed.

READ AND LISTEN
Explore the Qur’an page by page in Mushaf view, or verse by verse with Arabic, transliteration, translation and available tafsir. Adjust each text size, save verses and return to your place. Start the audio from a chosen verse and follow the highlighted text with supported recordings.

MAKE ROOM FOR REMEMBRANCE
Read or listen to morning and evening adhkar, with transliteration and translated meanings. Tap a passage to start there. The last two verses of Al-Baqarah have their own page, bringing together reading, listening and available commentary.

PRAYER TIMES THAT FIT YOUR DAY
Choose a nearby mosque’s available timetable or calculate prayer times for your location. Select a calculation method and the Standard or Hanafi Asr setting. Set your reminders, find the Qibla and keep prayer times in view with widgets. The home screen changes with the light of the day and offers a simple place to begin.

KEEP LEARNING
Explore worship guides, sourced stories, hadith, tafsir and the Names of Allah. Find the Hijri calendar, fasting plans and Zakat tools in the same library. Optional cycle tracking keeps entries on your device, with local import of supported data files.

ASK AND EXPLORE
Ask about a topic and continue through the suggested references. Everyone has up to five Ask requests per day, resetting at midnight UTC; an internet connection is required. Answers use AI and may be mistaken. Check the sources and consult a qualified scholar for personal religious rulings.

FREE, WITH YOUR SUPPORT
The Qur’an, prayer tools, adhkar and learning library remain free and ad-free. Everyone receives the same five daily Ask requests. An optional monthly or annual support subscription helps the independent developer maintain and improve Al Sirat. As a thank-you, active supporters can choose five exclusive app icons with matching widget colours. The Classic appearance stays free. The developer pledges 5% of Al Sirat’s profits to just causes in Muslim lands.

Apple displays the price before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Payment is charged to your Apple Account; manage or cancel in App Store subscriptions.

The app interface is available in English, French and Arabic. Texts, translations and commentary vary by collection. Some features need an internet connection.
