Amberhold

Amberhold records the operational evidence of a shift: operator rounds, routine checks and temporary controls, captured on a phone as attributable, append-only records.

For industrial sites that walk the plant every shift: chemical, waste and recycling, food and drink, energy and utilities, and manufacturing.

• Guided rounds: each point in order, with the recent trend and the limits in view. A skipped point is recorded as a skip, never hidden.
• Which equipment each check is about: checks can be tied to equipment with a QR label or an NFC tag, scanned or tapped at the point of the check. A tag identifies the equipment; it never authenticates.
• Any iPhone or iPad reads the QR tag with its camera; NFC tags are read in the Amberhold app on iPhone.
• Report something you've seen: a leak, damage or anything out of place, in the operator's own words, with a photo if needed.
• Temporary controls: declared with a reason, with a check scheduled each shift, and cleared with a reason; visible to the next shift.
• Capture-time truth: the limit a reading was judged against when it was taken is kept with it.
• Append-only history: a correction adds an entry; every reading, skip and control stays attributable and exportable.
• Your records in the tools you already run: CSV export and a read-only REST API for Excel, Power BI and other systems.
• Works with Microsoft Entra ID sign-in.
• Opens without a signal and shows the plan as it was last synced, always stating its age.
• Losing signal part-way through a walk keeps what you have already recorded on the phone and sends it when signal returns, with the time it was captured. Starting a new walk needs a connection.

This app is for sites that use Amberhold. Your employer sets up the site, the rounds and your account; sign in with the account they give you.
