SMART OFF-PEAK CHARGING
AmpNest automatically matches your location to your utility provider — SCE, PG&E, ConEd, and more. It tracks the cheapest charging windows and pushes a notification the moment off-peak rates kick in. No more manually checking rate schedules.
Your Tesla account connects via official OAuth authorization — your password never touches AmpNest. We read your charging kWh through Tesla API, multiply by your local rate, and calculate exactly what each session costs. Average users save $47/month compared to charging at peak rates.
SHARED SPOT BOOKING
Apartment charging spots cause neighbor conflicts. AmpNest solves it with a simple QR-code booking system anyone can use — no app download required for neighbors.
Scan the QR code posted at the charging spot, see real-time availability, and book your time slot. App users get advance booking windows (up to 48 hours for Pro+), priority queue placement, and browser Push notifications when a spot opens up — no phone number needed.
Cancel anytime if plans change. Your slot is released immediately to the next person in queue.
ELECTRIC BILL SPLITTING
Shared meter with roommates? AmpNest records every charging session from Tesla API, calculates your exact share using the actual rate, and generates a clean bill you can send as a screenshot or PDF. No more guessing, no more awkward conversations.
WEEKLY CHARGING ROUTE PLANNER
Plan the whole week's charging around your commute. AmpNest maps Supercharger and Level 2 stops along your existing routes — minimizing extra detours to under 15 minutes per week on average.
LANDLORD REQUEST GUIDE (Pro+)
Need a charger installed? AmpNest includes a built-in legal library covering California (AB 2565), New York, Texas, and Florida tenant rights. Generate a formal request letter with one tap, plus scripts for the 5 most common landlord objections.
