PROGRAM LIBRARY
Six classic strength programs are built in. Pick one, tap import, and start training:

Each program ships with the right exercises, set/rep schemes, and progression notes. Templates are fully editable after import. If you lift in pounds, starting weights come in 5 lb steps.

OR BUILD YOUR OWN
70 exercises across every major muscle group, and you can add your own. Mix and match into your own routines, set targets for sets, reps, weight, and rest, and link supersets together. The exercise library is fully searchable.

SWITCHING APPS
Import your workout history from a Strong or Hevy CSV export. You see what comes across before anything is saved, and exercises are matched to Anvil's own where they are the same lift.

ACTIVE WORKOUT
A focused screen for the gym floor. The set you are on is a large card with its reps and weight and one Done button. Last session's numbers sit beside it, one tap to reuse them. Rest counts down as a clock, also on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. Supersets alternate one set at a time, with rest after each round. A plate calculator shows what goes on each side of the bar.

APPLE WATCH
See the current set on your wrist, mark it done or skipped, and feel when rest is over. The workout runs on your iPhone, so the watch needs the phone nearby. It needs no internet.

PROGRESS TRACKING
• Stats over 4, 12 or 26 weeks, compared with the weeks before
• Volume, workouts or sets per week, and sets per muscle group
• Estimated 1RM per lift, and your latest records
• After each workout: time, sets and volume against last time
• History by week and month, searchable by exercise
• A streak counted in weeks, so rest days never break it

APPLE HEALTH
Optional integration writes workouts to Health and reads heart rate and calories from Apple Watch during training.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
No account. No cloud. No analytics inside the app. Workout data stays on your device. Crash reports, which carry no workout details, can be turned off in Settings. Your progress is yours.
