App Detox : Time Back

Spend less time scrolling and more time on what matters to you.

App Detox helps you decide how long to use your apps and when to take a break. Make more time for family, something you want to finish, or a quieter evening.

THREE WAYS TO TAKE A BREAK

Daily Limits
Set a daily time limit for each selected app. When its time is up, the app is blocked until the limit resets at midnight.

Schedules
Choose recurring days and times to block selected apps. Plan breaks around work, meals, or bedtime—even overnight.

Lock Now
Choose your apps and start a timed break. Set a four-digit unlock PIN before you begin. The lock ends automatically when time is up. To end it early, enter the same PIN. Other active rules may still keep an app blocked.

UNDERSTAND YOUR HABITS

Explore your weekly screen time, app rankings, notification counts, and pickup counts using data provided by iOS. See when you use your phone most and compare weekday and weekend averages.

Usage data may be delayed or unavailable.

KEEP THINGS SIMPLE

Protect access to App Detox and changes to your rules with a four-digit admin PIN. Enable Face ID or Touch ID on supported devices for easier access.

Choose Starry Sky or Light appearance, with support for English and Traditional Chinese.

FREE TO USE

All features are free. Optional, one-time tips help support ongoing development, updates, and fixes. Tips do not unlock extra features or renew automatically.

App Detox requires Screen Time access to apply restrictions. It is a tool for managing your own phone habits. The admin PIN cannot prevent deleting the app or revoking Screen Time access, which may stop restrictions from working.
