O aplicativo APPonco visa capacitar e atualizar profissionais de saúde na detecção de sinais e sintomas do câncer infantojuvenil, oferecendo conteúdo especializado por meio de interfaces de computador amigáveis e interativas; um bate-papo para trocar experiências entre profissionais de saúde registrados no APPonco e plantonistas que atuam no Centro de Câncer Pediátrico da Peter Pan Association (APP); Notificações sobre eventos relevantes no contexto do câncer infantojuvenil; e um mapa informando a distribuição geográfica dos profissionais que utilizam os serviços APPonco e serviços SUS que oferecem tratamento gratuito para o câncer infantojuvenil no Brasil.
Além disso, o APPonco possui o módulo de público geral, onde oferece o conteúdo especializado, os serviços SUS e um FAQ com perguntas e respostas para aos pais, pacientes e cuidadores.
