Description by Bartlomiej Skwara(from the App Store)
AppSail is a maritime community in your pocket.
Whether you sail the Baltic, cruise the Mediterranean, or cross the Great Lakes — someone nearby can probably help. A mechanic who knows your engine. A sailor with a spare part. Crew looking for a yacht. A skipper looking for hands on deck.
AppSail connects sailors and motorboaters in real time, within a nautical mile radius you choose.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Find help in port and at anchor • Trade spare parts with nearby crews • Offer or find yacht hitchhiking • Build a crew for your next passage • Reach experts: mechanics, electricians, sailmakers, shipwrights • Chat directly with matched users
HOW IT WORKS
1. Create a profile — who you are, what you can offer, what you need 2. Pick your radius (from a few to several hundred nautical miles) 3. Post a request or browse what others have posted 4. AppSail matches you with people nearby 5. Chat, arrange, go
WHO IT IS FOR
• Skippers and yacht owners • Motorboaters • Crew looking for a place on board • Mechanics, service techs, marine experts • Anyone who lives by the water
WHY APPSAIL
In the sailing world, help has always come down to who you know and lucky timing. AppSail turns that into a tool — fast, local, available in every port.
The app works in English and Polish. Push notifications alert you to new matches. Built-in chat runs in real time. A Mapbox-powered map shows who is around you.
PRIVACY AND SAFETY
• Data encrypted in transit • Full control over profile visibility • Report and block options • In-app account deletion (App Store compliant) • Privacy Policy: appsail.eu
