ARC Music

Music, remembered.

ARC is an iPhone/iPad app for Apple Music that gives your albums room to breathe and your listening a place to stay. Explore your collection, settle into an atmosphere drawn from album artwork, and keep the moments that matter.

ONE LIBRARY, THREE PERSPECTIVES
Browse your Apple Music albums in Library, move through a cinematic perspective in Film, or explore an immersive wall of complete album covers in Wall. Search Apple Music for songs, albums, artists, and playlists beyond your personal collection.

FROM AMBIENT TO FOCUS
Shape your listening space with one continuous control. Let artwork and color take the lead in Ambient, or bring track information and controls forward in Focus. Choose Dynamic for gently moving album-inspired color, or Still for a quiet composition.

SAVE A MOMENT
Keep the exact point in a song that means something to you. Add a note, tags, or an optional voice recording. Return to a saved Moment and replay the song with a short lead-in to that point.

EXPLORE YOUR MEMORY
Discover four ways to revisit listening recorded in ARC:
• Moments — the points you chose to keep.
• Listening Days — the music that accompanied a recorded day.
• Albums Revisited — the records you returned to across different days.
• Listening Rhythms — patterns supported by your recorded listening.

LET YOUR MUSIC BECOME A CHAPTER
Choose a completed week, month, or year and watch your recorded listening unfold through moving artwork, dates, saved Moments, and musical highlights. Each Chapter reflects the records available, with music on or off. Leaving the film returns you to your previous playback.

PRIVATE, LOCAL, YOURS
No ARC account is required. Your Memory, notes, and voice recordings stay on your iPhone/iPad. Back up or move your Memory through manual export and import. Voice recordings are excluded from exports unless you explicitly choose to include them. ARC does not provide cloud synchronization.

EIGHT LANGUAGES
Use ARC in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, or Spanish. Original song, album, and artist names remain unchanged, as do your notes.

BEFORE YOU LISTEN
Apple Music authorization is required for music access. Subscription-catalog playback requires an Apple Music subscription, which is not included with ARC. Content availability depends on your Apple Music account and region. Search, library refresh, streaming, and replay may require an internet connection.

Memory reflects playback observed by ARC on this device, not your complete Apple Music listening history. Chapters appear for completed periods with enough recorded listening or saved Moments and play inside ARC; video export is not available.
