ArrowNotes

ArrowNotes grew out of practice – out of the wish for an app that lets you record arrows without detours, without distraction and without rigid rules. In training or in competition: a few seconds after the end should be enough to note the result and get back to shooting. That is what ArrowNotes focuses on. The app deliberately avoids clutter, yet gives you a solid basis for analysis, evaluation and structure. Many features are already there, others are added step by step – with the goal of making ArrowNotes a powerful but still clear companion for archers.

The free version of ArrowNotes is fully usable and contains all the essential features for recording and analysing training and competition – no subscription, no running costs. Available in English, German, French and Spanish.

Rounds & ends
- Create rounds with different templates, target faces and diameters
- Record arrows on the target face (with markers), on the keypad or from a photo
- Add matches within a round, for example to record a competition
- Automatic scores, averages and hit rates
- Record freely without limits: no fixed number of ends per round. Ideal for training, when you do not know in advance how much you will shoot.
- Save, edit or delete ends
- Correct rounds that were set up incorrectly: change distance, fix section, move ends
- Filter by type (training/competition), place (indoor/outdoor) and period
- Target faces supported so far: WA/FITA 10 ring, WA/FITA 5 ring, WA/FITA 6 ring, WA/FITA 3-spot, WA Field, WA Field 3-spot, IFAA indoor and 5-spot

Competition and match play
- Olympic set system (2/1/0 set points) and cumulative compound scoring
- Individual, team and mixed team – six WA formats
- Set point score, list of sets and winner at a glance, shoot-off included

Personal bests & awards
- Personal bests per round type and bow type (competition) and per distance and target face (training) – with date, previous best and a link to the round
- 39 awards in eight categories: outdoor and indoor target pins based on the World Archery thresholds, stars for WA 1440, milestones for arrows and rounds, special hits and consistency
- Progress for open awards, celebration when you earn one
- Everything is derived from your rounds – practice and competition count alike

Statistics
- Trends on the overview: Ø points / arrow, Ø points / end, gold rate, X rate and arrows / month – the last 3 months compared with the 3 before, separated into indoor and outdoor, with a 12-month history
- Score shares in percent
- Score distribution as arrows per ring
- Average score per end
- Number of arrows (recorded, manual and total)
- Filter by period (week, month, year, custom), type (training/competition) and place (indoor/outdoor)
- Open round statistics with a swipe
- Hit pattern analysis per round with offset and average spread

Equipment & setups
- Manage bows, limbs, sights, arrows and accessories

Arrow counter
