Ashtotra: Daily Prayers

Ashtotra is a calm companion for daily Hindu prayer. Read, listen and chant in the script you read best.

TODAY'S PRACTICE
Four small steps a day: morning prayers, the day's devotion, a few minutes of meditation, and the evening lamp. Tick them off and watch your week fill with rings.

MEDITATE
Choose 1 to 20 minutes, gently close your eyes, and breathe. A haptic breath guide swells as you breathe in and fades as you breathe out, so you never need to look. Meditate to a tanpura drone, a singing bowl, silence, or your own favourite devotional song from your Music library. A soft bell tells you when it's time.

YOUR PRACTICE
Your streak, days of prayer, minutes meditated, and a calendar of every day you showed up.

TODAY
A gentle start each day: the day's traditional devotion (Shiva on Monday, Hanuman on Tuesday, Lakshmi on Friday…) and the prayers that suit this moment, from waking to sleep.

DAILY ROUTINES
Morning prayers, before study, before meals, the evening lamp and before sleep. 17 short mantras, including the Gayatri and Mahamrityunjaya, each with its meaning.

STOTRAS AND AARTI
Hanuman Chalisa, Aditya Hrudayam, Ganesha Pancharatnam, Sri Suktam, Narayana Suktam and Om Jai Jagadish Hare.
