Atomix: Atom Puzzle Game

Just link the atoms. A hint is there when you're stuck, and the atoms, molecules and element order sink in while you play.

Atomix is a molecule-building puzzle. Link each atom to a neighbor in the same row or column, and when every atom has all the bonds it needs, the molecule is complete.

MOLECULE PUZZLE
Every atom shows how many bonds it needs: hydrogen 1, oxygen 2, nitrogen 3, carbon 4. Tap two atoms in the same row or column to bond them, and tap again for a double or triple bond. Bonds cannot cross, and a molecule is complete when every atom is satisfied and all of them are connected. Stuck? Hint places one correct bond for you, and tapping an atom tells you why it has that many bonds.
48 real molecules in three worlds. Water Drop Village starts with water and ammonia and grows one atom at a time. Carbon Train links carbon after carbon into longer molecules. Element Island brings in new friends such as silicon and sulfur. Every board has exactly one solution. Finish a board and you get its formula, its name and a fact about it.

ATOM FUSION
A fourth world for quick rounds. Drop atoms into a jar; when two of the same touch, they fuse into the next element on the table, hydrogen to helium to lithium and on up. The jar fills, the score climbs, and every element you make for the first time goes into your Collection with its fact.

TODAY
Home opens with today's mission: build one molecule such as water, ammonia or carbon dioxide, then answer three quick questions from the elements you miss most. That is one board a day. Done is done; there are no streaks and no notifications.

COLLECTION
Elements you build into a molecule or answer correctly in the Bonus Quiz are saved to your Collection with their atomic number, atomic mass and a one-line fact. Collect all of the first 20, from hydrogen to calcium.

ELEMENTS
Wondering why oxygen needs two bonds? Look it up here when a puzzle gets tricky.
- Periodic Table: the first 20 elements laid out the way the real table is. Tap any element for its symbol, atomic number, atomic mass, period, group, family and one thing worth knowing about it.
- Order Game: tap the elements in atomic-number order. Practise all 20, one period at a time, one group at a time, or one family such as the alkali metals, noble gases or nonmetals. Wrong taps shake but never block you.
- Bonus Quiz: ten questions per round mixing symbol, name, number, group, period and family. Atomix remembers which elements you keep missing and offers a review round of exactly those. An element counts as mastered after three correct answers.
