Audiobook Co-op

Audiobook Co-op brings every AudiobookShelf server you use — your own, a family member's, a friend's — into one library you can listen to and read.

ONE LIBRARY, MANY SERVERS
• A book held on two servers appears once.
• A series split across servers reads as one series, in order, whichever server each book is on.
• Your progress goes back to your server, so it follows you to your other devices.

A PLAYER BUILT FOR LONG BOOKS
• Chapters, bookmarks, a sleep timer, and a playback speed that stays set.
• Keeps playing with the screen locked, with lock screen, Control Center and headphone controls.
• Download books and listen offline.

READ AS WELL AS LISTEN
• A reader for EPUB, PDF and comic books.
• The player keeps going while the reader is open.

DISCOVER WHAT TO READ NEXT
• The next and missing books in your series, more from the authors and narrators you like, and books like the ones you have finished.
• Like a book, mark it Not for me, or add it to your wishlist.
• Sponsored and promoted books are always labelled. Discover and its shop links are offered in the United States.
• Disclosure: we may earn a commission when you buy through shop links in the app, at no cost to you.

THE PEOPLE ON YOUR SERVER
• Recommend a book to the people who share your server, and ask its owner for one you would like.

MAKE IT YOURS
• Light or dark theme, your own accent colour, and text that scales up or down.
• List or grid, sort and filter, and the tab the app opens on.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Never changes files or metadata on your server. It writes your listening progress and nothing else.
• No account with us, and no tracking.
• Sharing your reading taste for better suggestions is off until you switch it on, and you can delete what you have shared at any time.

WHAT YOU NEED An AudiobookShelf server you can sign in to — your own, or one somebody has given you an account on. Audiobook Co-op has no books of its own. AudiobookShelf is an independent open-source project; Audiobook Co-op is not affiliated with it or endorsed by it.

FREE, WITH ONE-TIME UNLOCKS Free with one server, with the player, the reader, downloads and Discover all included. The free version shows sponsored and promoted books, always labelled. Nothing is a subscription.
• Two servers: merge a second server into the library, and stop the sponsored banner opening by itself.
• Unlimited: any number of servers, a sponsored banner you can switch off, and new-release alerts for your series.
• Family: everything in Unlimited, shared with up to five family members through Family Sharing. Tips are optional and unlock nothing.
