Audiogram Maker

Audiogram Maker is a small utility that does one thing: it lets you copy threshold values from a paper audiogram — the printed test results from your audiologist — into Apple Health.

Once your audiogram is in Apple Health as a standard HealthKit audiogram sample, iOS features that read it can use the data. AirPods Hearing Assistance, Headphone Accommodations, and Personalized Volume all consume this data directly from Apple Health.

THIS APP IS NOT A HEARING TEST.
It does not generate, calculate, estimate, or measure threshold values. Every value is one you type in by hand from a test administered by a qualified hearing healthcare professional.

It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and it does not provide medical advice. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any hospital, clinic, audiology practice, university, government agency, or other health organization.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Enter threshold values for both ears at the standard audiometric frequencies (125 Hz through 8 kHz, including the interoctaves)
• See a live audiogram chart as you enter values
• Save to Apple Health as a standard HKAudiogramSample
• Browse past audiograms in History
• Re-edit a previous audiogram by duplicating it as a new draft
• Optionally label each sample with the clinician's name, the clinic, and free-form notes

PRIVACY
• All processing happens on this device. The app makes no network requests beyond what Apple's system services require for app installation, code signing, and HealthKit's own operation.
• The app collects no analytics, identifiers, telemetry, advertising data, or third-party tracking.
• Audiogram data is written to and read from Apple Health using only the permissions you grant. The app stores no separate copies of your data outside of Apple Health.
• Free-form fields you optionally enter live in the HealthKit sample's metadata on this device.
• Your Apple Health data is owned and controlled by you. Apple Health enforces its own privacy and access policies — refer to Apple's Health privacy documentation for details.
• Deleting an audiogram in this app removes it from Apple Health permanently and cannot be undone.

ALWAYS rely on your audiologist's interpretation of your test results. If you have any concerns about your hearing, consult a licensed hearing healthcare professional. Do not use the data in this app, or any device feature consuming that data, as a substitute for clinical evaluation or treatment. The accuracy of the data is only as good as your transcription of the paper audiogram.
