Augmented Monuments erweckt längst verschwundene Bauwerke und kulturhistorische Denkmäler wieder zum Leben. Mit unserer App haben die Nutzer die Möglichkeit, die verlorenen Gebäude und Monumente direkt vor Ort visuell und hautnah zu erleben. Gebäude, die durch Zerfall und Zerstörung nicht mehr vorhanden sind, werden durch die erweiterte Realität (Augmented Reality) 3D rekonstruiert und über das Smartphone in die reale Umgebung platziert. Alle Objekte können im dreidimensionalen Raum von allen Seiten betrachtet werden. Es wird der Eindruck vermittelt, dass die Gebäude und Anlagen wieder dort stehen, wo sie ursprünglich errichtet wurden.

Augmented Monuments brings long-lost buildings and cultural-historical monuments back to life. With our app, users have the opportunity to experience the lost buildings and monuments visually and up close directly on site. Buildings that are no longer present due to decay and destruction are reconstructed in 3D through augmented reality and placed in the real environment via the smartphone. All objects can be viewed in three-dimensional space from all sides. The impression is given that the buildings and facilities are back where they were originally erected.
