Aurly provides accurate, real-time aurora forecasts so you can easily know when the Northern Lights or Southern Lights will be visible at your location. The app combines live geomagnetic data, global aurora models, and location-based visibility predictions to help you plan your viewing with confidence.
Aurly shows the current Kp index, visibility percentage, activity level, and a detailed forecast for both hemispheres. A global aurora map displays the intensity of the auroral oval in real time, along with your position for quick reference. The app also includes a seven-day activity chart to help you track recent geomagnetic trends and understand how conditions are developing.
Aurly provides practical guidance for anyone planning to see the aurora. This includes the best viewing direction, the optimal time window, and suggestions for nearby viewing locations with their visibility probability. A dedicated “Best Places” map highlights recommended spots around the world and provides up-to-date visibility information for each location.
Custom alerts ensure you never miss an aurora opportunity. You can choose when to be notified by setting a minimum Kp index threshold, enabling precise and relevant notifications. Alert history is included so you can review past events and understand how activity has changed.
Aurly is designed with a modern, clean interface built for clarity. You can switch between themes such as Aurora, Night Sky, or Minimal, and use the home screen widget to see the current Kp index and activity level at a glance. Navigation is simple with dedicated tabs for Home, Forecast, Alerts, and Settings, allowing quick access to all information.
Aurly is suitable for travelers, photographers, and anyone interested in monitoring auroral activity. Whether you are planning a trip to Iceland, Norway, Alaska, Canada, or simply want accurate data wherever you are, the app provides reliable and easy-to-understand information based on trusted space-weather sources.
Download Aurly to stay updated with real-time aurora forecasts, visibility predictions, and timely alerts designed to help you make the most of every opportunity to view the Northern Lights or Southern Lights.
