YOUR CHANCE TONIGHT
A single honest score for your spot - Unlikely, Low, Possible, or Likely - computed from the live Kp forecast and your geomagnetic latitude. Every score shows its limiting factor (bright nights, stale data, low activity) and how fresh the data is, so you always know what it really means.

KP INDEX, NOW AND AHEAD
The current planetary Kp on a clean arc dial, plus a 3-day forecast in 3-hour blocks colored by activity. See a storm building before it arrives.

THE AURORA OVAL MAP
A custom dark world map painted from the NOAA OVATION model: the green oval shows where activity is strongest, and a view line marks how far south (or north, in the southern hemisphere) the lights may reach at the current Kp.

AURORA ALERTS
Arm an alert for your location and Lumavik pushes you when the aurora is likely near you - usually minutes after the data turns. Coordinates are rounded before they ever leave your device, and a tap opens straight to that location.

NIGHT-VISION MODE
A red night-vision theme that protects your dark-adapted eyes while you are out under the sky - the whole app remaps to red on black with one tap.

BOTH HEMISPHERES
Northern lights and southern lights (aurora australis) are both covered - the map and forecast flip automatically for your latitude.

HONEST BY DESIGN
This app reads public NOAA SWPC data straight from the source and never overpromises. It shows probabilities, not certainties, and labels stale data instead of hiding it. It is for sky-watching, not aviation or other operational use.
