AvoCook is your modern, privacy-respecting cooking companion, designed for food lovers who want to keep full control over their recipes and data.

Whether you are looking for a 100% offline recipe book or a seamless mobile interface for your Nextcloud Cookbook server, AvoCook adapts to the way you cook.

TWO USAGE MODES
• Local mode: Use the app completely standalone without creating an account. Your data stays exclusively on your device.
• Nextcloud mode: Securely connect to your Nextcloud server (Cookbook app). Find, edit, create, and import your recipes seamlessly from your iPhone or iPad.

KEY FEATURES
• Browse & Search: Browse your recipes by category and instantly find what you need.
• Create, Edit & AI: Customize your recipe cards and add your own photos. You can even scan recipes from photos or generate a recipe from a picture of a dish using AI (requires an API key).
• Smart Web Import: Copy and paste a recipe URL or share a link directly from Safari or other apps to instantly import ingredients and steps (compatible with BBC Good Food, Allrecipes, Chefkoch, GialloZafferano, etc.).
• Interactive Cooking Tools:
- Adjust servings: ingredient quantities recalculate automatically.
- Quick copy: easily copy ingredients to your clipboard with one tap.
- iOS Integration: sync with the Apple Reminders app for easy grocery lists and family sharing.
- Built-in timers: start multiple timers for your prep and cooking steps, ringing even when the screen is locked.
- Active screen: keep your screen awake while cooking, without touching your device with messy hands.
• Print & Share: Print your recipes directly via AirPrint or export them as beautifully styled PDF files.
• Full Offline Mode: Your recipes remain accessible in the kitchen without the internet. Offline edits are queued and automatically synced when your connection returns.
• Local Backup: Export and restore your entire recipe book in one click (JSON file).

PRIVACY & SECURITY
AvoCook does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. Your Nextcloud login credentials are encrypted and securely stored in your device's Keychain.
