AWKNG is a ministry on a mission to awaken people to a deeper understanding of the Bible, making high-level Biblical scholarship accessible to the everyday Christian. Our free on-demand courses, reading plans, and small group curriculum are developed by leading academic professors and scholars, recognized for their subject matter excellence.

AWKNG was founded in 2020 and serves students from around the world. We are a non-accredited, online educational ministry focused on adult learning of the Bible. Our courses teach the Bible as a unifying meta-narrative, teaching students to interpret the Bible through ancient historical and cultural contexts. We believe people should not skip over hard-to-understand passages and should be able to defend their faith properly. All course materials are in-depth, and thorough, challenging students to engage with their Bible and think critically. Yet, all courses are accessible, on-demand, free, and have no enrollment requirements or prerequisites.
