Description by Sohaib Ahmed(from the App Store)
Recitation of the Qur'an never stops, so it should help you feel connected to the Ummah.
Awliyah connects Muslims around the world for live, one-on-one Qur'an recitations. Open the map, find someone reciting right now, and read together. Or simply open your Mushaf and recite on your own. It's the sense of community through the Qur'an that's hard to find anywhere else.
FEEL A SENSE OF COMMUNITY See a live map of people hosting recitation sessions and reciting solo. Discover others, send an invite, and turn your daily reading into a shared moment.
RECITE TOGETHER, LIVE Join a real-time 1:1 session and recite the Qur'an with a partner. Take turns, listen, and encourage one another. Real connection, wherever you both are.
READ A SYNCED, CUSTOMIZABLE MUSHAF Follow along on a beautiful Mushaf that stays in sync with your session, so you're always on the same page. Prefer to read alone? The standalone Mushaf is always available, with adjustable layouts, scripts, sizes, and quick navigation to any Juz, Surah or page.
BUILD A CONSISTENT HABIT Track your streak, sessions, hours, and milestones. Small, steady steps turn recitation into a habit that lasts.
RECITE IN A SAFE, WELCOMING SPACE Awliyah is built to feel respectful and safe. Spaces are gender-conscious, and you can report or block anyone at any time. Regardless of your skill level: beginner or hafiz, every reciter is welcome.
Whether you want to stay consistent, meet fellow Muslims, or simply feel connected to the Ummah, Awliyah brings the community together through the Qur'an.
