AXIRN: Sensor Instruments

Make the invisible measurable.

Your phone is full of instruments you rarely get to see. AXIRN opens them up in one live control panel, turning motion, location, sound, health, vision and system state into readable signals: hairline gauges, scrolling traces and typed telemetry in the style of a flight-deck display. Every number comes from the hardware itself. When a sensor has nothing to report, AXIRN shows a dash instead of a guess.

LIVE INDEX
Your sensors on one board, with live values and sparklines. Swipe a row to pin it to the dashboard. Pin one live camera, LiDAR or face-tracking view above the dashboard. Search the catalog by name.

INSTRUMENTS
• Attitude: an artificial horizon with pitch, bank and bearing at 30 Hz, plus an optional camera view and true-level calibration
• Heading: true and magnetic heading, field strength and calibration state
• G-Force, gyroscope and magnetometer with live traces
• Atmosphere: barometric pressure, trend and relative altitude
• Location: coordinates in decimal or DMS, altitude, speed and accuracy
• Pedometer and activity: steps, distance, floors, and a 7-day activity log
• Battery, thermal state and orientation
• Microphone level and on-device speech recognition
• Bluetooth LE: nearby devices by signal strength. AXIRN listens and never connects.

CAMERA AND DEPTH
• Camera Feed: run several cameras at once on supported iPhones
• LiDAR depth in multiple palettes and modes
• Face detection with landmarks, and TrueDepth face tracking with blend shapes, processed on device and never stored

HEALTH HISTORY
Steps, sleep, heart rate, workouts, VO₂ max and blood oxygen, synced from Apple Health, day by day for 7 or 30 days. Pinch to change the range. AXIRN does not measure these with iPhone sensors: it shows values that Apple Watch or your other devices already recorded in Apple Health. With no Health data, it shows none. AXIRN only reads Health and never writes to it.

ASK YOUR SENSORS
On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, ask a question like "How active have I been today?" Apple's on-device model answers from your live readings, and AXIRN shows the exact lines it sent. Nothing leaves your phone.

WIDGETS
One AXIRN widget in small, medium and large sizes and on the Lock Screen. Choose Pedometer, Health, Battery, Atmosphere or Bluetooth. Values come from the last real reading and show the time they were taken.

YOUR SETTINGS
• Dark, light or system appearance
• Metric or imperial units; hPa, kPa or inHg; °C or °F
• Local alerts for low battery, thermal state, pressure change and more
• Data Access: a switch for every source. A source you turn off never starts.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Readings are processed on your iPhone and are not uploaded. Face detection and face tracking work frame by frame in memory and are never stored or shared.

Requires iOS 26. Some instruments need specific hardware, such as LiDAR or a TrueDepth camera, and Ask Your Sensors needs Apple Intelligence. AXIRN tells you when a sensor isn't available on your device. Sensors run while the app is open.
