Back Here: Daydream Help

Maladaptive daydreaming is vivid, immersive daydreaming that is hard to stop and takes time and attention away from daily life. Back Here is a private tool made for people who live with it.

WHAT BACK HERE IS FOR
Noticing when a daydream starts to pull you in, coming back to the present, and understanding what sets it off. Many people reach for a daydream when a strong feeling shows up. Back Here gives that feeling somewhere else to go.

WHAT IS INSIDE
- Quick help for three moments: when a daydream is starting, when you are deep inside it, and when it has just ended. Each one guides you back with grounding steps and a few short questions.
- Work through a feeling: rate it, find it in your body, take a slow breath, and choose one small step.
- Mindfulness sessions: short guided sessions that practice noticing a drift and coming back.
- Journaling: a daily idea to write about, and a list of your past entries.
- Your trail: every time you come back, a stone is added to a path that leads through five places.
- Insights: simple charts that show when a pull happens, what usually starts it, and how a feeling changes.
- Gentle reminders at the times you choose.
