Für eine Wandertour rund um Bad Urach bieten sich die fünf Premiumwanderwege „Grafensteige“ mit dem, 2016 zu Deutschlands schönstem Wanderweg gekürten Wasserfallsteig und dem ebenso abwechslungsreichen Hohenurachsteig, Hohenwittlingensteig, Hochberg und Seeburgsteig, bestens an. Sportlich, aber nicht alpin führen die Halbtagestouren zu den Schönheiten des ehemaligen Vulkangebiets.
Rauschende Wasserfälle, eindrucksvolle Burgruinen, saftig grüne Buchenwälder und gigantische Aussichtsfelsen entlang der Abbruchkante des Albtraufs, machen das Gebiet rund um die Stadt zu einem echten Wanderparadies.
