Description by Orizon 42(from the App Store)
Screen time is earned.
Barake is a parental control app that ends the nightly bargaining: your kid does their chores and passes their quizzes, you approve, and the minutes they earn unlock their apps. When the counter reaches zero, everything locks again — no stepping in, no reminding.
HOW IT WORKS
1. You choose the apps to limit: whole categories (Games, Social media…) or specific apps. 2. Your kid earns minutes: with chores you approve in one tap, and with short quizzes that grade themselves. 3. The minutes unlock their apps. They use them whenever they like. At zero, the apps lock again.
CHORES, WITHOUT THE NAGGING
• A catalog of everyday tasks with suggested minutes: tidy your room, set the table, homework, reading… • You decide what each task is worth and which days it comes back. • A photo as proof, when you ask for one. • A notification when a task is waiting for you. Declined? Add a note about what's missing, and they send it again. • Gift minutes, no task needed, whenever you like.
QUIZZES FOR MINUTES
Short multiple-choice quizzes matched to your kid's age or grade, starting with math. A time limit per question, an explanation for every answer, and the minutes land as soon as they pass — nothing for you to check. Didn't pass? Another try later.
YOU STAY IN CHARGE
• A daily cap on the minutes they can earn. • A bedtime: after that, nothing unlocks until morning. • Apps that are always allowed: Phone, Messages, school apps. • A parent code protects the settings on their phone. • Follow everything from your own phone: minutes earned, used and left.
On your kid's iPhone, Barake uses Apple's Screen Time, with your approval as the parent in Family Sharing. Setup takes about ten minutes, step by step.
PRIVACY
Barake blocks and unblocks apps; it never reads what your kid does in them. On iPhone, Apple doesn't even share the names of the chosen apps with Barake. No ads, no data sold, no tracking on your kid's phone. Task photos are deleted after 30 days.
SUBSCRIPTION
7-day free trial, then a monthly or yearly subscription. One subscription covers all your kids. If the subscription stops, every block is lifted on your kid's phone: we don't lock a kid out over a payment.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
