Safe by design
Most scanners open links the moment you scan them. Barcode QR Reader shows you what's inside first: you decide what to do next. And when you do open a link, it goes to your default browser, not a built-in one. If tracking parameters (UTM) are detected, you'll get an "Open without tracking" option too.

Scan anything
Supports all major 1D and 2D formats including QR codes, barcodes, PDF417, Mini QR, and more. Smart results for special code types:
- Wi-Fi codes — tap Connect to join instantly
- Bitcoin addresses — tap to copy the address
- vCards — tap to save directly to Contacts
- URLs — open in your default browser, with or without tracking

Scan everywhere
- Camera tab: real-time scanning with flash and front camera support
- Gallery tab: pick any photo and scan it. No full photo library access required; we only see the image you choose
- Multi-code mode: scan multiple codes in a single frame (great for business cards)
- Share Sheet: receive an image in any app, share it to Barcode QR Reader, get the result
- "Scan for Codes" action: appears in the share sheet action row; long-press any image and scan it on the spot

Your history, your way
Every scan is saved locally. Recall, copy, or share any past result. Swipe to delete individual entries or clear everything at once. Enable Details mode to see barcode type and structure metadata alongside each
result.
