Bardic: Game Master Notes

Bardic writes your campaign's "previously on" so you never have to.

Two minutes after the table packs up, record a short voice debrief of what happened — or type it. Bardic transcribes it, writes a spoiler-free recap you can read to your players and a fuller one for you, and keeps your campaign index up to date: every person, place, faction, item and plot thread your sessions have mentioned, with the sessions they appeared in.

THE TWO-MINUTE DEBRIEF
• Tap ● Debrief and talk: what happened, who they met, what is still open
• Recording is written to your phone in one-minute segments, so a phone call or a dead battery costs seconds, not the debrief
• Prefer typing? Long-press ● Debrief for a typed debrief instead
• Debriefs stop at fifteen minutes — this is the two minutes you would spend telling a friend, not a recording of the whole night

"PREVIOUSLY ON…"
• A players' recap written to be read aloud at the start of the next session
• A GM recap that keeps the parts the players did not see
• Share the players' recap to your group chat as a card or as text, in one tap

A CAMPAIGN INDEX THAT KEEPS ITSELF
• People, places, factions, items and threads collected as you debrief
• Each entry shows what is known about it and which sessions it appeared in
• Search your whole campaign
• Nothing is ever merged automatically: when Bardic thinks two names are the same person, it asks you
• Fix a spelling once and Bardic uses it for every future debrief

YOURS TO KEEP
• Export any session as PDF, Word, Markdown or plain text, or share the original audio
• Reading and exporting keep working even if your subscription lapses

ANY SYSTEM
Bardic works with whatever you play. It ships no rules, no monsters and no setting — only what you and your table make.

PRIVACY
Recordings are transcribed on your iPhone using Apple speech recognition. Audio stays on your phone. With your permission, transcript text and campaign context are sent securely through our server to OpenAI for corrections, recaps and campaign indexing. Transcripts, recaps and your index are stored with your account for access across devices. Bardic does not track you and shows no ads. Local transcription requires a supported device and a downloaded language model; AI processing requires an internet connection.

SUBSCRIPTION
An active weekly or yearly auto-renewable subscription is required to create new debriefs. Eligible subscribers can receive a discounted first week on the weekly plan, followed by the regular weekly price. The yearly plan has no introductory offer. Your local price and introductory eligibility are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings. Restore Purchases is available on the paywall and in Settings. Existing content remains available to read and export after your subscription ends.
