Barka: Boat Dossier

Barka turns the receipts and spreadsheets you already have into a clear dossier of your boat. Your records stay on your iPhone, with no account and no tracking.

WHAT IT DOES
• Import: photograph a receipt or open a PDF, import your log from a spreadsheet (.xlsx, .xls or CSV). Barka reads the date, the vendor, the amount and the items; you correct what needs it in the draft.
• Every record carries its source: with a document (receipt, PDF) or as the owner's statement. The two are never mixed.
• Engine hours per engine, entered by hand, only ever going up. Deadlines (registration, insurance, service) in one place.
• A timeline by year and category: engine, hull, electrics, equipment, service.
• The boat's dossier as a PDF: the history by category, the documents attached, the engine hours. Send it to a buyer, a broker or an insurer.
• Hand-over: the whole history with its documents as one .barka file that the new owner takes over into their own Barka.
• Six languages: Croatian, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish. Receipts are read in each of them.
• Kuna and euro: older Croatian records converted at the fixed rate, both figures in the dossier.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
Barka does not check your documents and gives no scores. The owner compiles the dossier; Barka is the tool that ties every record to its source.

PRIVACY
No account, no password, no email. Your records, documents and photos stay on your phone and in your own iCloud backup, and the app has no server. The only things that leave the phone are what you share and the technical data the built-in text recognition sends to its maker. The privacy statement has the details.
