BarnKeeper: Horse Management

Your horse's whole life, on your phone. Feed changes, medications, vet visits, farrier dates, blanket calls, and what all of it cost.

I built BarnKeeper because I have three horses at home and my system was a whiteboard in the aisle, a notes app, and a shoebox of receipts. It worked, but not as well as I wanted it to. The tools were the problem, not me.

WHO NEEDS A BLANKET TONIGHT
BarnKeeper pulls your local forecast and gives you a recommendation for each horse based on their clip, age, and coat. Log what you actually put on and build a record you can look back on next winter.

REPLACE THE FEED WHITEBOARD
Every horse's feed, supplements, and medications, current and dated. When you change a ration, the change is logged. Anyone helping at your barn sees the same thing you do.

EVERY CONDITION, EVERY MEDICATION
Health records that hold up when the vet asks. Conditions, treatments, dosages, and dates, organized per horse instead of scattered across text threads.

WHAT YOU SPENT, AND WHEN
Track board, feed, vet, farrier, and everything else. Split shared costs across horses based on actual usage, which matters if you have boarders or co-owners.

YOUR BARN TEAM
Invite the people who help. Barn managers, boarders, and helpers each see what they should and nothing they shouldn't. Add up to three emergency contacts per horse, free, with read-only access to what they'd need in a bad moment.

APPOINTMENTS
Vet, farrier, dentist, bodywork. Schedule them, get reminded, and log the outcome so the record is complete.

WHAT BARNKEEPER IS NOT
It is not a ride tracker and it is not a show calendar. This is care management. If you want GPS on your trail rides there are good apps for that. This is for the other twenty-three hours.

BarnKeeper is a record keeping tool and does not provide veterinary advice. Always consult your veterinarian.
