WORKS WITH
Roku, Google TV and Android TV, Samsung (Tizen, 2016 and newer), LG webOS and Vizio SmartCast TVs on the same Wi-Fi as your iPhone.
THE REMOTE
• Power, D-pad, OK, Back, Home, volume and channel, media keys and a number keypad
• Press and hold for volume and arrows where your TV supports it
• More keys: colour keys, Guide, Info, Subtitles, Channel list, Last channel and more. Only the keys your TV accepts are shown
• Input / HDMI picker, so you can jump straight to the input you want
• Apps: open streaming apps in one tap
• Keyboard: type on your phone and send it to the TV. Tap the microphone on the iPhone keyboard to dictate; Beam itself never listens
• Switch between TVs, rename them and put them in your order
• Macros: one tap runs several steps, like opening an app, waiting, then pressing keys
SIMPLE SET-UP
Beam finds your TV on the Wi-Fi without any extra setup. Roku needs no pairing. For the other brands you approve Beam once on the TV or type the code it shows. If your TV isn't listed, enter its IP address. A built-in Connection check tells you what's wrong when a TV doesn't respond.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Beam talks only to your own TV on your local network. Each TV's secure certificate is checked every time, so a different device can't pretend to be your TV. No microphone, no photos, no location.
FREE, WITH OPTIONAL ADS
Beam is free and shows a few ads in places that never get in the way of the remote. Watch one ad to turn them off for 24 hours. You are asked for your choice about personalised ads and tracking, and you can say no and still use every feature.
Beam doesn't use infrared (iPhones have no IR blaster), so IR-only TVs aren't supported. Beam is not affiliated with or endorsed by Roku, Google, Samsung, LG Electronics or VIZIO. All product names and trademarks belong to their owners.
