From a sheet metal profile to a documented workshop process, Bendora keeps your part geometry, bending parameters, operation sequence, and measurements in one place.
Build a part with the interactive Fold Strip editor. Define segments and bends, adjust angles with the angle dial, and switch between folded and flat views to understand how your profile develops.
DESIGN YOUR PART
• Start with L Bracket, U Channel, Z Profile, Hat Profile, or a custom shape.
• Add segments and edit their dimensions.
• Set stock thickness, width, material, and quantity.
• Define each bend’s angle, inside radius, K-Factor, and UP or DOWN direction.
• Explore a rotatable 3D metal preview.
• Show dimensions, bend IDs, and the neutral axis in the editor.
CALCULATE THE FLAT PATTERN
• Calculate theoretical bend allowance, bend deduction, and outside setback.
• View developed length, bend-line positions from the left edge, and dimension chains.
• Review finished dimensions alongside flat contributions for each segment.
• Inspect individual bends and see the formulas behind the results.
• Compare thickness and material scenarios using your chosen process parameters.
BUILD YOUR WORKSHOP LIBRARY
• Create editable material and K-Factor profiles.
• Record parameter sources, including user entries, workshop tests, machine tables, and material datasheets.
• Save machine and tool-set details, setup notes, and tooling photos.
• Record springback trials and calculate an experimental K-Factor from a single-bend test piece.
PLAN AND RECORD PRODUCTION
• Reorder bends into your preferred operation sequence.
• Follow Shop Mode with before-and-after geometry and a completion checklist.
• Track planned quantity, completed pieces, rejects, and pending work.
• Save target and measured dimensions or angles with signed differences and sample numbers.
• Keep drawing references, photos, revision snapshots, and part notes together.
SHARE YOUR WORK
• Generate multipage PDF bend reports with flat patterns, bend tables, sequence diagrams, measurements, and photo references.
• Export CSV data and PNG flat-pattern images.
• Use system sharing and printing, and revisit locally generated exports.
ORGANIZE YOUR PARTS
Search by part information, material, thickness, project, tag, or revision. Favorite, duplicate, and archive parts as your workshop library grows. Display results in millimeters, centimeters, decimal inches, or fractional inches. Parameter input fields use millimeters.
Bendora works locally without a Bendora account. Workshop data and reports are stored on your device.
CALCULATION BASIS
Segment dimensions use outside virtual-sharp leg lengths, and bend angles represent rotation from flat. Results are theoretical and depend on the entered parameters. K-Factor profiles are editable process records, not universal material constants. Confirm process values with your own workshop trials. Bendora does not determine machine capacity or tooling clearance.
