Bike Auto Unlock adds a return-triggered Bluetooth release to your BLACK X RockSolid U-lock. Once configured, you can approach your bike without opening an app or tapping an unlock button. Hear the beep, turn the knob within six seconds, and you’re ready to go.

BUILT AROUND YOUR RETURN
The everyday benefit is fewer steps at the bike: no need to bring an app to the foreground for each automatic release. Walk clearly away for at least 30 seconds, then return. A briefly stable signal above your chosen threshold triggers one release attempt. You can also unlock manually from the app.

SET THE PROXIMITY THAT SUITS YOU
A guided two-position measurement helps choose your threshold. Live Bluetooth signal readings and a history chart make adjustments easier. The range is −90 to −35 dBm. Signal strength depends on your pocket, body and surroundings; it is not an exact distance in metres.

OFFLINE AFTER SETUP
Sign in with your existing BLACK X account, select your lock and confirm one manual release. The saved credential is then used directly over Bluetooth. Internet is needed for sign-in and loading access, not for each release. Existing pairing and the original app remain unchanged.

OPEN FROM APPLE WATCH
Leave your iPhone behind. After copying your verified key once from the paired iPhone, tap Unlock on Apple Watch to connect directly to your lock over Bluetooth. The iPhone can be away or powered off; no internet or cellular plan is needed for opening. Requires watchOS 10 or newer. Watch opening is manual, with no proximity automation or background polling.

BATTERY AT A GLANCE
See the battery percentage and time of its last successful reading. Optional local alerts notify you below 50%, then below 40%, 30%, 20% and 10%, once per level. Readings come from successful releases, without an extra battery-check connection.

BEFORE YOU BUY
Requires a compatible BLACK X RockSolid U-lock, an authorized BLACK X account and an iPhone with Bluetooth. Hardware is not included. This is an independent companion app, not an official BLACK X product. Compatibility with other locks is not claimed.

Auto-Unlock must be enabled after a successful manual release. Background operation depends on iOS and radio conditions. Do not force-quit the app; reopen it after restarting your iPhone. A pocket or your body can weaken Bluetooth and delay a release. The app confirms an electronic release, not whether the lock is physically open or closed. Keep your key or original app available.
