Bilal - Adhan & Qibla

Bilâl is a focused prayer companion that runs entirely on your device — accurate times, a dependable Qibla, and timely adhan reminders, and nothing you don't need. No account, no servers, no analytics, no ads, no tracking. Your location never leaves your phone.

Named after Bilâl ibn Rabâh, the first muezzin, the app does one thing well: it tells you when to pray and which way to face, wherever you are.

ACCURATE PRAYER TIMES
• Today's five prayers plus sunrise, with adhan and iqamah times
• A live countdown to the next prayer
• 12 calculation methods (Muslim World League, ISNA, Umm al-Qura, Egyptian, Karachi, Diyanet, and more)
• Madhab selection for Asr (Standard / Hanafi)
• High-latitude rules and per-prayer manual adjustments to match your local mosque

A QIBLA FINDER THAT ACTUALLY WORKS
Phone compasses drift near metal, magnets, and electronics. Bilâl detects when yours is unreliable and helps you find the direction from the one reference that can't be jammed — the sun or the environment you are in.
• A smooth compass dial with the bearing and distance to Mecca
• Accuracy detection with on-screen calibration guidance
• Find it by the sun: face the sun and turn the angle Bilâl shows — no working compass needed
• A shadow method, plus the twice-yearly "sun directly over the Kaaba" (Istiwâ al-A'ẓam) tip

PRAYER NOTIFICATIONS, YOUR WAY
• Local adhan, iqamah, and pre-prayer reminders
• Per-prayer adhan tones in the traditional Ottoman maqams — Sabâ, Uşşak, Rast, Segâh, Hicaz
• Per-prayer on/off, quiet hours, and an airplane-mode safeguard that silences audible alerts so you never disturb anyone
• A home-screen widget with the next prayer and countdown
• A Lock Screen and Dynamic Island Live Activity, and an Apple Watch app with complications

PRIVACY FIRST
• No account, no sign-in
• No servers — every time and bearing is computed on your device
• No analytics, no ads, no tracking, no data collection
• Location is used only to compute your times and Qibla, and is never transmitted

MADE TO LIVE WITH
Two themes — Sakina (warm) and Layl (jade) — each in light, dark, or follow-the-system.

Free, and quiet about it — the way a prayer companion should be.
