Here are the basic rules of a typical Bingo game:
1. Each player is given a bingo card or multiple cards, depending on the game variation.
2. The bingo card consists of a grid containing numbers. The numbers are randomly arranged within specific ranges. For example, in a 75-ball Bingo game, the numbers range from 1 to 75.
3. A caller announces numbers randomly, one at a time. In traditional Bingo halls, the numbers are drawn from a ball machine or selected from a deck of numbered cards. In online or mobile Bingo games, the numbers are usually generated electronically.
4. As the numbers are called, players mark off the corresponding numbers on their bingo cards. This can be done by using a dauber or simply tapping on the numbers in digital versions.
5. The objective of the game is to complete a specific pattern on the bingo card. Common patterns include a straight line (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal), a full house (covering all numbers on the card), or a predetermined shape or design.
6. The first player to successfully complete the announced pattern and shout "Bingo!" wins the round.
7. Once a player calls "Bingo," the numbers are verified for accuracy. If the numbers are correct and the pattern is valid, the player wins the round and receives a prize.
8. If multiple players achieve the winning pattern at the same time, the prize may be divided equally among the winners.
9. The game continues with new rounds, and players can use the same or different bingo cards for each round.
