SoundPass is the first all-digital, early-warning app that measures your Forced Cough Vocalization (FCV) Impact Score, a key respiratory wellness metric.

HOW IT WORKS

SoundPass uses AI to detect and measure your FCV Impact Score. Just download the app and create an account to get started. By coughing a few times into the app, you establish your personal Baseline, which is as unique as your fingerprint.

Any time you want to conduct a self-check, you cough into the app. SoundPass lets you know whether it has detected any changes in your FCV by comparing your current cough to your Baseline. When no changes are detected, SoundPass provides you with an Authentication message and QR code that can be scanned by businesses using the companion software. If a change is detected, SoundPass lets you know so that you can take steps to protect your health.

This app can be used every day - even multiple times per day - with results in about 2 minutes. Like the check engine light on a car, SoundPass cannot identify what has caused the change or diagnose any illnesses - only that a change has been observed.

THE SCIENCE OF SOUNDPASS

Biometric security tools use unique physical or behavioral characteristics to verify personal identity. To use SoundPass, users create a completely unique Baseline signature by coughing into the app a few times. This Baseline signature is as unique as your fingerprint. After your Baseline is established, you can conduct a self-check at any time, and get your results in under 2 minutes.

Each cough you submit becomes a SoundPass audio input that first gets transformed into spectrograms using the company’s specialized processing tools. Sophisticated and proprietary sound processing algorithms capture frequency signatures and time concordance and are then

analyzed by a proprietary set of AI/ML techniques designed to recognize unique identifiers in the cough signatures. SoundPass identifies the unique features of each user’s signature, designed to detect even tiny changes when compared to the user’s Baseline.

Your respiratory wellness is a key indicator of your overall well-being. SoundPass is the ideal self-check mobile app focused on your respiratory function, to provide you with peace of mind in today’s environment. Although SoundPass does not diagnose or identify the reasons for the mismatch, conditions that can result in a “Not Authenticated” message in the SoundPass app include exposure to pathogens, chemical agents, and environmental toxins.
