Blabu: Speak & Learn Languages

Understand more than you can say? Blabu is a speaking-first conversation partner. You talk out loud, Blabu listens, answers by voice and helps you find your words, one sentence at a time.

No scripts, no pressure. Just real conversations.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick a language, your level and a scene: ordering at a cafe, checking into a hotel, a job interview or a chat about your weekend.
2. Tap the microphone and talk. Blabu answers in a natural voice, at a pace that suits your level.
3. When a sentence could sound more natural, a small "You could also say" tip appears with a short explanation. The conversation keeps going.
4. At the end you get a summary: your best sentence, your corrections, your new words and a scene for tomorrow.

WHAT YOU GET
• Live voice conversations in 12 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Turkish and Norwegian
• Speech speed that follows your level, with a manual setting in Settings and a slow replay for any line
• Gentle corrections with explanations, without breaking the flow
• Meaning subtitles in your own language, so you never get lost
• 24 everyday themes to choose from
• A words collection that shows your progress; new words come back in later chats
• No ads. Signing in with Apple or Google is optional

KIDS MODE
A separate space for ages 7 to 12 with short lessons, a warm natural voice and topics children pick themselves. Speech in Kids mode is recognized on the device. Settings and the way back to the adult app are behind a parent gate (Face ID or the device passcode). In Word Hunt, children point the camera at things around them and Blabu names the object live. This only works with a parent's permission: each tap sends one photo through Blabu's server to OpenAI to name the object, and the photo is not stored.

BLABU PLUS
You can try a few conversation minutes for free, without an account. Blabu Plus gives you 100 minutes of live conversation per month, as a monthly or a yearly subscription. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial that includes 30 minutes of conversation. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.

Blabu Plus is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. The free trial converts to a paid yearly subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

PRIVACY
Adult conversations are processed by OpenAI to create Blabu's replies; the app asks for your permission before your first conversation. Blabu does not store raw audio.
