The app works exclusively with licensed London taxis that meet TfL standards for safety, accessibility, and regulated metered fares. All drivers using Blackcab.com are licensed, insured, and Knowledge-qualified, operating within the established London taxi framework.

Blackcab.com follows a simple, driver-first model: no surge pricing, no commission on fares, and no added technology fees. The regulated taxi meter applies as normal. For booked journeys, a £2 booking fee is charged to the passenger. This structure keeps pricing transparent and familiar while allowing drivers to retain full control of their earnings.
