BlackShisa: Parking Dashcam

BlackShisa gives a spare iPhone a job: watching over your parked car.

It works two ways, and the first one is free.

SECURITY LIGHT — FREE, NO CAMERA, NO PURCHASE
A blinking LED tells anyone looking that the car is not unattended. BlackShisa turns your
iPhone's light into that deterrent. The camera is never opened, so there is no recording and
nothing to manage.
- Set how long the light stays on and how long it stays off
- Adjust brightness on devices that support it
- Set a battery floor so the light stops before your phone dies, or ignore it while charging
- Set a maximum run time
- Dim the screen so only the LED shows
This part of the app costs nothing and needs no account.

EVIDENCE RECORDING — SUBSCRIPTION
When you want proof rather than deterrence, start monitoring. BlackShisa watches for trouble and
saves video around the moment it happens, aiming for footage where a plate or a face is readable.
- Motion, sound and impact are watched independently, each with its own sensitivity
- Recording starts BEFORE the trigger: the seconds leading up to an event are kept, not just the
aftermath
- Choose clip length: roughly 10, 33 or 60 seconds
- Record at high resolution, up to 4K
- Portrait or landscape, whichever way the phone sits on your mount
- The same recorder works as a plain dashcam while you drive

IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHILE YOU ARE AWAY
- Connect Gmail and BlackShisa emails you when something triggers, with the detection photo
attached so you can judge it at a glance
- Cap how many emails an hour, so a windy day does not fill your inbox
- Connect Google Drive and clips upload on their own
Both are optional, off until you turn them on, and use your own Google account. Drive access uses
the drive.file scope, so the app can only touch files it created itself.

BEFORE YOU START
On iPhone, monitoring and recording run only while BlackShisa is open on screen. They pause when
the phone locks or the app goes to the background. Keep the screen on and the app in front, use a
mount, and give it power for long sessions. To stay discreet, you can switch the camera preview
off while recording continues, or dim the display.

The Security Light is not affected by this — it is meant to be left running.

THE SUBSCRIPTION, IN PLAIN TERMS
- BlackShisa Monthly. Auto-renewing, one month per term.
- Price depends on your country or region. In the United States it is US$6.99 per month. Your
exact price is shown before you confirm.
- New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. Nothing is charged during the trial. Your Apple Account
is charged when it ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before that.
- Without a trial, payment is taken when you confirm the purchase.
- Renewal happens automatically within the 24 hours before the term ends, unless auto-renew is
switched off at least 24 hours earlier.
- Manage or cancel any time in your Apple Account settings.
- The Security Light stays free whether or not you subscribe.
