BlackVault Chat

BlackVault is a private, invitation-only messenger for teams and organisations that need confidentiality.

Accounts are created with an invitation code from your organisation's administrator. No phone number or email address is needed — you choose a username.

END-TO-END ENCRYPTED
• Messages, photos, videos, documents and voice notes are encrypted on your phone and can only be opened by the people in the chat.
• Voice and video calls, including group calls, are encrypted from phone to phone and ring like normal iPhone calls.
• The server only relays encrypted data. There is no cloud backup: chats stay on the participants' phones.

YOU DECIDE WHO CAN REACH YOU
• Chat requests: people who add you by username must be accepted before they can message or call you.
• Colleagues from your organisation's directory can connect directly.
• Block, Block & report, and a Blocked contacts list in Settings.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Locked with your BlackVault PIN or Face ID.
• Screenshots of chats and opened files come out black; Settings stay normal.
• Screen-recording privacy cover and hidden app-switcher previews.
• Disappearing messages, view-once and view-twice photos and videos.
• Delete for everyone without a trace, and clear chats on one or both sides.
• Security status screen and contact key verification.

BUILT FOR WORK
• Group chats with admin settings (who can send messages, edit group info and add members) and automatic admin handover.
• Group voice and video calls; add people to a call.
• Open PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files inside the app — files stay inside BlackVault.
• Forward messages with control over where they went.
• Search messages, per-chat notification tones, read receipts on or off.

ACCOUNT CONTROL
• Delete your account permanently from Settings.

BlackVault requires an invitation code from your organisation.
