BlipBlobb

BlipBlobb is a local group chat app that lets you communicate with people nearby without using the internet. It works entirely offline using Bluetooth or local Wi-Fi, so your messages stay on your devices and never pass through servers. There are no accounts to create, no phone numbers to share, and no data collection. Just open the app, create a room, and start chatting.

You can connect in two ways. Bluetooth lets you chat anywhere, even in places with no signal at all, such as flights, camping trips, concerts, or remote areas. Wi-Fi lets you connect with others on the same local network for faster messaging and photo sharing.

Creating or joining a room takes only seconds. Rooms can be public or private, and private rooms require approval or a shared code to join. Messages are end-to-end encrypted, and each message is cryptographically signed so participants can verify who sent it. Nearby rooms can be discovered automatically, and you can receive notifications when a new room appears close to you.

BlipBlobb uses peer-to-peer and mesh networking to relay messages directly between devices, keeping everyone connected without relying on the internet. All communication stays local and disappears when the room ends.
