Blumen Online for TRIO (BOT)

Blumen Online for TRIO (commonly known as BOT) is a specialized, cloud-based student data management software designed specifically for federally funded TRIO programs (such as Upward Bound, Talent Search, and Student Support Services) in the United States. Developed by Compansol, it acts as an all-in-one hub that helps program staff, counselors, and advisors manage student records and keep their programs running smoothly.

What Does BOT Do?

Instead of relying on stacks of physical paperwork, Blumen Online digitizes the entire administrative process. Here are its key features:

Student Tracking: It securely stores student demographics, academic progress, and details about the specific services or counseling they receive.
Two-Way Texting & Email: Staff can send bulk text messages and emails to students directly from the platform to share updates about upcoming workshops, field trips, or tutoring sessions.
Digital Forms: It turns physical paper applications and permission slips into digital forms that support electronic signatures.
Quick Check-ins (BOLT): It supports a kiosk feature where students can scan or swipe their ID cards to instantly check into appointments, events, or tutoring labs.
Annual Performance Reports (APR): Because TRIO programs are government-funded, they must submit detailed reports to the U.S. Department of Education every year. BOT automates this tracking so programs can easily prove their impact and keep their funding.
