BOB The Estimator

Estimates, quotes and on-site calculators for builders and carpenters, and every trade working alongside them.

Punch in the job, get an itemised estimate, and send a branded quote. BOB does the numbers after hours and on site, so you can get back on the tools. Built for tradies, by a tradie.

PRICE THE WHOLE JOB
• Estimators for bathrooms, kitchens, laundries, decks, retaining walls, plaster and cladding
• Custom Estimate: combine several estimators and your own line items into one job, like a full renovation
• Your own prices, saved as rate books per trade and picked per job
• Carpentry priced by the day, plus a job allowance
• Consumables worked out from the job (silicone, sealant, nails, batten screws, packers and more), with every quantity editable
• Skip bins, custom line items, admin fee, insurance, margin, GST and Victorian DBI worked in for you

BATHROOMS, KITCHENS & LAUNDRIES
• As many niches as the job needs, a tiled shower ledge, and shower or bath screens in frameless or semi-frameless, clear, frosted or fluted glass
• PC allowances for the vanity, toilet and tapware, listed on the quote so your client sees what's allowed
• Cabinetry, benchtops, splashbacks, floor coverings, plastering and painting
• Benchtops in laminate, timber, natural stone, porcelain or silica-free engineered stone

DECKS, RETAINING WALLS & CLADDING
• Stumps, bearers, joists, decking, balustrades, handrails, stairs and a roof over the deck

• Clean materials lists to order from
• Email an estimate to your client from your own templates, PDF attached

ON-SITE CALCULATORS
Stairs, rafters, raked walls, spans, concrete, volumes, roof pitch, 3-4-5, spacing and mark-up. Five calculators are free with no account needed, and you can try the Bathroom estimator before you subscribe.

KNOW WHAT YOU'RE WORTH
The Wage & Expense calculator works both ways. Tell it what you want to earn and it works out what to charge, or tell it what you charge now and it shows what you actually earn, split into wage, holidays and downtime, super and business expenses. Estimates only, as a budgeting guide — not tax or financial advice.

CLIENTS & JOB MANAGEMENT
• Schedule work on a calendar in month, week and day views
• Colour-code clients and see what's running at a glance
• Bill by the quote, by the hour, or the price you agreed
• Track expenses, wages and profit/loss per job
• Job checklists, your crew, and a roster built from your hours

YOUR DASHBOARD
Today's schedule and local weather, plus revenue, win rate, your best clients and financial-year profit/loss.

WORKS WHERE YOU DO
• Works offline: no signal on site, no problem
• Subscribe without making an account, or create one to sync your jobs, rates and rate books across devices

PLANS
• Lite: every calculator, clients and scheduling, the dashboard and PDF export
• Essentials: everything in Lite, plus the three estimators you use most
• Pro: every estimator, plus Custom Estimate
Monthly or annual. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled in your Apple Account settings or from Settings in BOB.

Stop doing Quotes & Estimates at midnight and guessing quantities. Let BOB do the numbers.
