Body Sketch: Figure Drawing

A pose. A timer. A page of your own.

Body Sketch brings 3D references and a drawing studio together, so you can spend more time drawing. Warm up with today's pose, explore the library, or create a private reference from your own photos.

FIND YOUR NEXT POSE
Start with a daily featured pose or browse the library by pose type and body descriptors. Rotate, tilt, and zoom the lit 3D figure to find the angle you want to study.

DRAW AGAINST THE CLOCK
Choose 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, or 20 minutes. Try a quick gesture or give yourself time to work through shape, proportion, and shading.

MAKE YOUR MARK
Draw with Fine Pencil, HB Pencil, Soft Pencil, Ink Pen, Shading Brush, or Charcoal. Adjust the grayscale tone and eraser size, undo a stroke, or clear the page and begin again.

SEE DIFFERENT INTERPRETATIONS
Explore community drawings attached to each library pose. See the time limit behind each sketch and watch available stroke replays to follow how it took shape.

KEEP YOUR SKETCHBOOK
Save your drawings, revisit them, watch their replays, and delete the ones you no longer want. You can use the same account on the app and website. Make your profile yours with a username, photo, and icon colour.

CREATE A PRIVATE REFERENCE
Upload a full-body photo to create a custom 3D pose. After automatic photo screening and an in-app purchase, follow generation progress until your model is ready. Your custom model and the drawings you make from it stay private.

ORGANIZE YOUR CUSTOM POSES
Switch between Create and Yours to make a new reference or revisit your collection. Browse model previews, keep the automatic Custom numbering or choose your own names, and delete models you no longer need.

DRAW ACROSS DEVICES
Practice on iPhone, iPad, or the website. Wider layouts place the reference beside your drawing canvas, keeping both in view while you work.

The pose library and drawing practice are free. Custom photo-to-3D poses are purchased separately through in-app purchase on iOS. Custom photos must show one fully clothed adult from head to toe. You must be at least 18 and have permission to use the photo.
