BoltDuel: Speed Card Game

No turns. No waiting. Just be faster.

BoltDuel is a real-time 1v1 Speed card duel. Both players slam cards onto the center piles at the same time, and the first to empty their hand and stock wins.

ALSO KNOWN AS
Speed goes by a lot of names. Spit, Slam, Nertz, Pounce. If you grew up playing any of them at a kitchen table, you already know this game.

HOW TO PLAY
A 52-card deck is split evenly between the two of you. Play any card one rank above or below the top of either center pile. Aces wrap between King and 2. When neither of you can move, hit SPEED to flip a fresh card onto each pile. Empty your hand and your stock first and you win.

A BOT THAT DOES NOT ROLL OVER
Most Speed bots are either unbeatable or trivial once you spot the pattern. This one waits a different fraction of a second every time, the way a person does, across Easy, Normal and Hard. Beating Hard means you actually got faster.
