Boncuk brings the Japanese flash anzan technique to iPhone and iPad for kids ages 7 to 11. It is mental arithmetic practice, not a game with educational filler. A tool with a personality.

WHY FLASH ANZAN

Flash anzan is a Japanese mental calculation method born out of the soroban and abacus tradition. Numbers flash one at a time on the screen. The child captures each number visually and performs the arithmetic in their head. No paper, no pencil, no calculator. Just the child's mind and accelerating numbers.

Five to fifteen minutes a day measurably builds mental calculation speed. This is not a replacement for school math. It is a complement.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Pick a mode: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, or Mixed.
2. Numbers flash one at a time at the level's pace.
3. Enter the answer on the keypad.
4. A correct answer earns a star toward three.

Each level has three rounds. Each round earns one star. Replay any level to chase the third star. As you advance, numbers flash faster and more of them appear.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your App Store account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription.

PRIVACY

Boncuk does not collect personal information from your child. Practice progress is stored on your device and synced through your iCloud account if available. No ads, no third-party analytics.
