History

BovIQ began with a rancher in New Mexico and a mobile app developer in North Carolina. Christian (the rancher) had been using complex excel worksheets for his cow-calf operation, but hated all the “office work” it required. Like most cattlemen he would rather be out moving than sitting at a desktop computer. So, he went mobile with a value-added production system that works from the Rocky Mountains of NM to the Piedmont of NC. Steven (the software engineer) adapted the idea to the simple power and ease of mobile cloud computing. Now, any good cattlemen with a smartphone can use BovIQ to integrate best practices from industry pros as well as academic Aggies.
