1. What is BowPro+
BowPro+ is free to download. Access to the features described below requires a BowPro+ Annual Subscription, purchased in the app as an auto-renewable subscription. New subscribers receive a 14-day free trial, after which the subscription renews annually unless canceled.
2. My Gear, setups and sight tapes
Reusable catalogs for bows, shafts, arrows, vanes, sights and related components make it easy to maintain equipment and combine it into complete setups.
Sight tapes are generated from the complete shooting system rather than a single speed value. They can use measured or estimated launch velocity, known sight marks, field measurements or combinations of these, with validation shots used to refine the result. Tapes can be customized for different sights and disciplines, including distance units and ranges, mark intervals, line dimensions, fonts, labels, alignment, orientation and sight-specific scaling.
3. Ballistics, velocity and field tools
BowPro+ uses one ballistic model throughout the app so velocity, trajectory, sight marks and shooting references remain consistent. Tools calculate arrow position, remaining velocity, momentum, time of flight, trajectory apex, line-of-sight displacement and near-field aiming references.
The Field Shot supports uphill and downhill shooting with camera-assisted aiming and modelled arrow flight.
Phrono is BowPro+’s phone-audio chronograph. It analyses bow-shot and target-impact sounds, separates the measured acoustic interval from the arrow’s actual flight time, and accounts for target distance, phone position, sound-path geometry, atmospheric conditions and arrow deceleration. Results can include timing corrections, signal quality, geometry, environmental values and diagnostics. BowPro+ can also estimate launch velocity from the bow and arrow configuration.
4. Activities, Flow, Quickdraw and Range Day
My Archery Journey provides a timeline for planning and recording shooting activities.
Flow supports structured practice with reusable drills and guided shooting sessions. Drills can define distances, arrow counts, aiming or impact references and other practice goals, turning repeatable training routines into recorded activities.
Quickdraw is the fast field workflow for creating targets, selecting scoring systems and distances, recording scores and observations, and using Target-O-Rama photography and hit marking when desired.
Range Day extends this into structured 3D shooting. Create a 3D Round, shoot individually or as a Squad, work through targets, record results and keep the session together as part of the Journey.
5. 3D Ranges
BowPro+ includes a Range Builder / 3D Range library. Create ranges with multiple loops, target stations, shooting positions, target assignments and optional location information. The Range Wizard can rapidly create a course structure and populate it from the target library. Published range versions can be reused in Range Day while later edits remain separate drafts.
6. Privacy, independence and sharing
BowPro+ is designed to work locally. No account is required, core functions do not depend on BowPro+ servers, and equipment configurations, calculations, activity records, Phrono data, target imagery and optional location information remain on the device unless you choose to export or share them. Camera, microphone and location access are used only by features that need them and are controlled through iOS permissions. Offline and off-grid is OK.
Reports and BowPro+ packages let you document or transfer equipment, setups, measurements and other supported data. Sharing is initiated by you through iOS.
BowPro+ brings equipment setup, measurement, modelling, structured practice, field solving, shooting records, 3D range management and reporting together in one compound-archery system.
