IT DOESN'T DIE MID-ROUND
Keeps running with the screen locked, in the background, with your music playing. The bell ducks your music for a moment, then hands it straight back. The bell rings even with the silent switch on. The clock is built on elapsed time, not ticks, so it can't drift or skip while your phone sleeps.
