Break the Loops

Break the Loops helps you interrupt the small habits that steal your attention — before they turn into another automatic scroll, snack, refresh, or late-night check. When an urge appears, pause for a moment and name the loop. Opened social media without thinking? Reached for the fridge after dinner? Picked up your phone in bed? Break the Loops gives you a simple replacement action you can do right away. Turn scrolling into ten squats. Swap a late snack for a glass of water. Replace another news refresh with two minutes outside or a few slow breaths. Complete the replacement, mark the break as kept or slipped, and move on with your day. Over time, Break the Loops turns these tiny pauses into visible progress. Your Ledger keeps every attempt, while Patterns shows which loops you interrupt most successfully. The Streak Board highlights days when you chose at least one better response and keeps your longest run in sight. Make the system your own. Create custom loops, choose the replacement you want suggested first, reorder alternatives, and set a daily reminder for the time when you usually need it most. Break the Loops does not monitor which apps you open or track your activity in the background. You stay in control: notice the urge, open the app, choose a replacement, and break the loop yourself. Small pause. Different action. One less automatic habit.
