I made that decision and threw away the cigarettes I had.
But determination alone does not change a person.
You decide not to smoke, then smoke again.
You decide to change, then return to the same day.
What you lose each time is not only your health or your money.
The feeling that you cannot even keep a promise you made to yourself begins to remain inside you.
If you keep telling yourself that you will change tomorrow, tomorrow will probably be the same.
So I stopped trying to solve a lifetime of not smoking.
First, move the next cigarette out of reach.
Prepare something else to do when the urge comes.
Face the life you do not want to return to and what you want to regain.
Then get through only the first 72 hours.
BreakThree turns what I actually did to get through those first three days into one guided sequence.
This app will not turn you into a different person.
But it will show you, one step at a time, what you can do right now to avoid the next cigarette.
Once you begin, three candles and the remaining time quietly show your progress through the 72 hours.
When the urge to smoke appears, open the 30-second breathing screen and pause.
