BrewGi: Coffee Brewing Journal

A pour-over coffee journal for logging every brew.
Record beans, grind, water, temperature and time alongside how it tasted, and time each pour with the built-in timer.
As your log grows, yield and taste stats show how your coffee is changing.

■ Five steps, then done
Beans, brewing, tasting, rating, save. A timer is built in, so you can start it the moment you begin pouring. Add a photo and the cup is captured.

■ A timer that tracks every pour
Split a brew into bloom and pours, with the time and water for each. Open a saved brew and the pour guide walks you through the same timing again.

■ A suggestion for your next brew
Based on how you rated bitterness, acidity and body, BrewGi suggests one change to try next: water temperature or amount. Your best brew with each bean is one tap away.

■ Yield and strength, calculated
Enter dose, water, final beverage weight and TDS, and BrewGi computes extraction yield and brew ratio for you. No refractometer? Ratio alone is enough to get started.

■ Two tasting modes
Quick mode covers sweetness, acidity, body, bitterness and finish. Detailed mode follows the SCA approach with up to ten attributes across four temperature stages, so you can see how the cup changes as it cools.

■ Bean collection and inventory
Keep origin, process, variety, altitude and roast level (with Agtron) in one place. Add purchase amount and open date, and remaining weight and aging days are tracked automatically from your logged doses.

■ Statistics that reveal your taste
Yield trends, a taste radar, brewer and origin distribution, your top-rated beans. The more you log, the clearer your preferences become.

■ Save recipes, brew them again
Store a great extraction as a preset and load it next time. Tap "brew again" and the beans and parameters are filled in for you.

■ Share your brews
Share a great cup as an image card or a link. Whoever opens it can recreate the same recipe in the app.
