BrighterBuddy is a sensory-friendly app designed to help autistic children ages 4–10 practice communication and social skills in a supportive, low-pressure environment with parent involvement.

Created by a parent of an autistic child, BrighterBuddy blends guided speech prompts, interactive social scenarios, and calming tools into one engaging experience designed for real-world practice.

This is not passive screen time. This is purposeful practice. BrighterBuddy is a learning and practice tool and is not a medical or therapeutic service.

What Kids Can Explore:

Speech Zone

Practice everyday phrases using guided prompts and repeat-back tools. Designed to encourage confidence in using their own voice and expressing needs in real-life situations.

Social Practice Zone

Explore common social moments such as greetings, turn-taking, asking for help, and navigating everyday interactions — in a safe environment before trying them outside the app.

Calming Zone

Access sensory-friendly tools and simple regulation activities to help decompress during moments of overwhelm.

BrighterBuddy is designed with awareness of common autistic communication styles, including scripting, echolalia, and AAC-supported speech.

We do not attempt to change or suppress autistic traits.
